Intel using Drupal
Intel Corporation, the world's largest semiconductor chip maker, is using Drupal for its Intel Atom Developer Program, a website for developers that want to create and sell software applications for netbooks and smart phones that are using the Intel Atom processor.
Intel also uses drupal for http://inteltechnologyprovider.com and http://intelflexplus.com Latter one is a huge deployment which manages their reseller channel completely on top of Drupal. I was hoping to write a case study for it when I was leading development of Intelflexplus from the Mumbai office but then there are many contract clauses. :)
January 11, 2010 - 13:13FWIW, http://moblin.org/ is also Drupal powered...
January 11, 2010 - 13:58Intel seems to love it a lot :)
I wish they'd use Drupal for their main site as well, as it's a mess to get to the information one needs with the current website.
January 11, 2010 - 14:09Thanks for the link Dries, though its a shame that their design is so terrible - reminiscent of microsoft/.net stock aesthetics due to use of Verdana and their horrible gradient-backed top nav!
Yet another high profile Drupal implementation which doesn't really showcase the potential Drupal has to both act as a web app framework and facilitate beautiful design/interfaces..
