Dries Buytaert

In October 2004, Andy and I attended the OOPSLA conference in Vancouver, Canada. After the conference, I did a presentation on Drupal for Vancouver's PHP user group and attended a Drupal dinner organized on my behalf. Both Bryght and CivicSpace, two companies build around Drupal, were present, as well as individual Drupal users and developers. In addition, we did some sightseeing in and around Vancouver. Among others, we visited the Capilano suspension bridge which, spanning 137 meters (450 foot) at a height of 70 meters (230 feet), is said to be one of the longest and highest suspension bridges in the world.
