Sweden 2004
With some friends, we did a 7-day canoeing and hiking trip in the Gla Forest nature reserve in Sweden which compromises 28,000 hectares of forests and lakes. We rented canoes in Glaskogen and packed them with food, equipment, and clothes. We also carried canoe wagons to portage the canoes and the equipment overland between two lakes. Over the course of the hike, we set up several camps at different sites to spend the night, to shelter on rainy days and to cook by fire.
