Ramsgate 2003

On the 5th of June, leaving at the Roompot (Netherlands) we set sail to Ramsgate (England). The weather was moderate; the wind was force five, the sky rather cloudy and the sea filled with white capped swells. Occasionally a wave would engulf the cockpit. Unfortunatly, it was the lumpy sea that quickly drove the majority of the crew seasick. That and after 21 miles we came to conclude that our VHF was defect. The crew not getting any better either, we decided to turn back. We never made it across the North Sea but instead, we had a great time sailing on the Oosterschelde for two more days. Some photos are taken by Hans.
